In the last video from the series taken from the Innotech Conference in Portland, Mark Teter discusses the cloud computing decision framework. If you’re evaluating the cloud as a technology strategy you’ll want to explore some things first, including:

  • Which applications make sense for the cloud? – classify your applications in advance
  • Which cloud computing model makes the most sense? – on-or off-premise
  • What is your cloud computing strategy? – how will you use the cloud?
  • Is a private cloud the way to go?

IT is becoming more important and more invaluable with cloud computing, and making the best decisions on cloud usage will position you for the best results.
