Mark Teter to Speak at Eighth Annual DEMOgala
ASG Chief Technology Officer, Mark Teter, will be speaking today at the Colorado Technology Association’s (CTA) Eighth Annual DEMOgala. Mark is one of six speakers paneling a discussion on Big Data.
Considering the higher levels of efficiency, profitability, and competitive advantage that this technology can offer, innovative organizations today are very interested in leveraging Big Data to transform their own volumes of unstructured and semi-structured data into valuable insights. This session will focus on how to handle complex database management tools and spot business trends. Other panelists include Billy Bosworth, Jason Schaffer, Vincent Dell'Anno, Ingo Fuchs, and Paul Unbehagen.
DEMOgala provides select start-ups with the opportunity to demonstrate their technology solutions to an audience of more than a thousand influential participants, which include CEOs and policy makers. The event will be held at the Sheraton in downtown Denver through October 24-25, 2012.
Scott McNealy, former chairman/CEO of Sun Microsystems, will be the event’s keynote speaker. McNealy is currently the Chairman and investor at Wayin, a Denver-based enterprise social media company. McNealy, who is sought after nationally to talk on the subject of technology innovation, will discuss why entrepreneurs are choosing Colorado as the place to build and grow their businesses.
DEMOgala is an anchor event within an entire week of activities surrounding Startup Denver that was kicked-off by Denver Mayor Michael Hancock on October 22nd. The weeklong event will showcase Denver’s entrepreneurial community with an emphasis on technology, design, social entrepreneurship and business. Sponsors designed the event to unite the entrepreneurial community in Denver and celebrate the great companies, innovation, and ideas happening in the city and the people and inspiration behind them.
