Making a Difference this Holiday Season

The homeless and hungry have it tough during the holidays. It’s cold – at least here in Colorado – and food, which is often the cornerstone of family gatherings, is hard to come by. That’s why we, here at ASG, have been collecting food for the better part of the last couple of months.

During the Thanksgiving holiday, we collected and donated over 600 pounds of food to the Food Bank of the Rockies to help folks put a meal on their table. We’re not done… we’re continuing to collect food for donation and are also collecting personal hygiene products and lending a hand at The Road Home, a Salt Lake City non-profit dedicated to helping the homeless.

It’s your turn! If just 50 percent of the companies in the Colorado area pitched in at a local charity or food bank, we could all make a big difference. It’s not too late to get involved and spread some much needed cheer this holiday season. We could all use it!
