Habitat for Humanity - Making a Difference in Denver

About this time last year, we blogged about our efforts to help build a Habitat for Humanity home with our partner, Cisco. This year, we’re pleased to announce that we’re at it again! ASG and Cisco have teamed up again to help build a triplex unit for three families. The unit we’re building will house a family of four refugees from Zambia who’ve lived in Colorado for the last three years.

Together with Cisco and the recipient families, we’ve contributed nearly 200 hours of hard work since late March. The homes, located in Globeville—one of the oldest parts of Denver—will be completed towards the end of June.

Habitat for Humanity is a fantastic, non-profit, international organization that was founded in 1976 to build ‘simple, decent, and affordable’ housing. To date, they’ve helped build or repair well over 600,000 houses globally and served more than 3 million people.
