Brocade Data Center Fabric Manager (DCFM) Enterprise


Brocade Data Center Fabric Manager (DCFM) Enterprise is a comprehensive network management solution for Brocade Fibre Channel SAN products, including Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE). It is designed for large enterprise environments with multi-fabric or multi-site storage networks. It features enterprise-class Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS), as well as proactive monitoring. As a result, it helps optimize storage resources, maximize performance and enhance the security of storage network infrastructures.

Brocade DCFM Enterprise manages and secures the flow of data across multiple fabrics from a central view. DCFM Enterprise empowers IT organizations to achieve their goals related to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), security, and compliance while simultaneously containing operating expenses. In addition, it provides unmatched scalability and performance to help IT organizations manage the unrelenting growth of data moving across today's data center networks.

Brocade DCFM Enterprise configures and manages Brocade DCX Backbone family, directors, switches, and extension solutions, as well as Brocade data-at-rest encryption, Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE)/Converged Enhanced Ethernet (CEE), HBA, and CNA products.

Unified Management

Brocade DCFM Enterprise is part of a common framework designed to manage entire data center fabrics, from the storage ports to the HBAs, both physical and virtual. Brocade DCFM Enterprise tightly integrates with Brocade Fabric OS (FOS) to leverage key features such as Advanced Performance Monitoring, Fabric Watch, and Adaptive Networking services. As part of a common management ecosystem, Brocade DCFM Enterprise integrates with leading partner data center automation solutions through frameworks such as the Storage Management Initiative-Specification (SMI-S).
